After several years in the attic, I brought out the ATVs I have and
wondered what is the best way to clean them up. I am sure I need a
cleaner w/o abrassives in them. But what cleans the plastic the best?

If there are no stickers on them or none you want to save - I have
just thrown them into the top rack of the dishwasher and they have
come out great - also works well for old star wars vehicles. The only
thing is you will normally lose any stickers- somethings they just
fall off and can be reattached. I have mostly used this on old star
wars and 3 3/4 gi joe stuff that is really bad but have cleaned a few
nasty atv's (and a couple of jeep shells as well- they look real nice
when they come out.

If the vehicle has stickers etc you want to keep there is no
replacing sitting in front of a movie on TV with cotton balls, q-tips,
kleenex, and a bowl of water with a mild detergent.

Oh yea - when using the dishwasher you just use your regular soap!

I would imagine one would turn off the heated drying option.

Thanks for the ideas. I will try that when my wife is not home. Boy
can I hear her now!
