Suspicious Containers In Hospital Held Urine
ALLENTOWN
City firefighters, police and a haz-mat team rushed to Sacred Heart Hospital
in Allentown on Thursday morning after three plastic containers filled with
an amber fluid and a note were found in the hospital's cafeteria.
According to the note, the contents inside the gallon jugs were ''for the
purpose of healing others,'' said Capt. David M. Howells Jr., a spokesman
for the city Police Department.
The liquid was determined to be human urine, Howells said.
On Wednesday, two similar jugs of urine were left in the area of the
hospital's emergency room, Howells said.
Sharon Melbourne, 43, of 1707 S. Albert St., was arrested Thursday at the
hospital and charged with disorderly conduct in the case, he said.
''She believed it to have healing powers,'' Howells said.
