I don't know about that but I do know this.. the Atkin's thing actually
works. I'm 6'5" and about 15 years ago was around 310lbs. Atkin's for me
was nuthin' but baked chicken thighs, no-sugar sodas, green beans/peas,
bacon, eggs, sausage, bunless burgers.. all you can eat all the time. I
was down to 240lbs in just a few months. My piss was brighter yellow
than the sun while I was on it, but it definitely works. Blood pressure
went straight to hell, but I still don't do sugar sodas to this day.
Maintaining around 260lbs and know I could bring that down to 220ish if
I did nothing but cut down on breads, pastas, and potatoes. I have a
feeling Mel's super loss was either Atkin's or truckloads of meth..
