Dear Mister Wilding and Mister Stillwell;

The husband of our Queen Beqatrix was given the title Prince as a sort
of personal favour,although not being a prince.
The children of Princess Margriet get that title,because they are also
member one way,or another of the royal house.
But for Prof.Mr. P. van Vollenhoven there is no reason for that.The
civil ex-husband of Princes Christina also didn't receive any title.
Yeah,before the Dutch royals of the highest class only married other
royals,so they already had a princely/royal title.
When a lady marries a Dutch royal,she gets of course the Dutch title
prinses.Same as you marry a man,then you always getb the familyname of
your man(or in modern times you choose otherwise).
