You know how on your webpage "http://www.4dw.net/royalark/Arabia/mecca5.htm" you refer to Mihr-i-Shah Malika Khanum (d. 1927), wife of Amir Pasha, Grand Sharif of Mecca (d. 1908), and mother-in-law of King Ali of the Hijaz. According to you she was "a Circassian lady". Well, according to "http://www.maltagenealogy.com/libro%20d'Oro/mariesaid.htm" you're wrong. She was Marie-Eleanor Ebury Said, illegitimate daughter of an English baron by a Maltese woman. This Maltese woman, again according to Mr. Said-Vassalo, had previously had illegitimate children by a man he calls "Charles-Laurien Bonaparte 4th Principe di Canino e Musignan", along with the astonishing claim that these illegitimate children by Bonaparte are erroneously shown by everybody else to have been children of Bonaparte by his wife. Other claims, these on the page referenced above (http://www.maltagenealogy.com/libro%20d'Oro/fiddien.html), are that Donna Maria Borghese Salviati didn't die unmarried but married a Maltese and had children, and that Olga daughter of Danilo I of Montenegro didn't die unmarried but married a Maltese and had children. But check out this descent, extracted from various pages at maltagenealogy.com: Mehmet III, Ottoman Sultan (d. 1481) Djem Sayd (d. 1495) Mehmed Sayd (d. 1522, created a Papal prince) P. Nicola Sayd (d. 1536) Nicola Santu (illegitimate, d. 1579) Alberto Sant Gio Maria Sant Gio Maria Sant Gio Francesco Sant Salvatore Baldassare Sant (d. 1791, created Austrian Count in 1770) Diane dei Conti Sant m. Salvatore Mallia Tabone, 1 M di Fiddien Clementine Mallia Tabone m. Carlo Curry George Curry (1823-1879) It's this George Curry who, according to Mr. Said-Vassalo, had the connection with the agricultural labourer. What I couldn't find, on Mr. Said-Vassalo's page, is any evidence to suggest that this "George Curry (1823-1879)" had any existence outside of Mr. Said-Vassalo's fertile imagination. Wikipedia is no help. "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Percy_Gardiner" makes reference to George Curry, but guess who did the edits on that page :)
