Real Scientists 17

This is a series of Christian creation scientists quotes taken from
history.

Lord William Kelvin (1824- 1907)

Kelvin was a leading physicist of his day and considered the greatest
teacher of his time. He made great contributions to the fields of
chemistry, and physics, including the proposal of an absolute
temperature scale. He performed pioneering work in thermodynamics,
telegraphy, and the electromagnetic properties of metals.

Kelvin wrote:

"Do not be afraid of being free thinkers [outside the box]! If you
think strongly enough you will be forced by science to the belief in
God, which is the foundation of all religion. You will find science
not antagonistic but helpful to [Christian] religion."

Kelvin was also fully aware of the writing of Darwin and rejected it
as backward, atheistic religion and the musings of a person with no
understanding of creation or the Creator. .

Here is another real scientist and a Christian who understood that all
the earth, and universe were here by the Word of God and not some
phony superstitious religion called evolution which is a belief system
of atheism.

So, now you have to FORGE quotes, eh? Is there ANYTHING you
won't lie about?

This isn't the first time Apobetics has fraudulently faked quotes. I've
caught him three times.

I contacted three scientists whom Apo supposedly quoted and asked them
if they really said what was quoted, and all denied it.

I can't help but wonder if that's why all the "Real Scientists" in his
latest serial are all dead. :-)

While the rest of us knew that already

And there ya have it Ladies and Gentlemen in lurk land.

This is perhaps the biggest LIE told on Usenet. The old "I contacted this
person" routine.

As we all know, there are no "real scientists" that will have nothing to do
with these Usenet-arm-chair-quarterbacks-scientists wannabe's.

It is really THAT simple.

Really? I contacted Victor Stenger for additional information. You are
projecting again, Assman, it is you they won't deal with. In fact over the
years I have contacted several 'real' scientists and found that when you say
you are dealing with a creationist they ALL want to help.
Yes, it really is THAT simple.

Attached is the latest one, from Dave Weishampel of Johns Hopkins
(<http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/fae/DBW.htm>). According to Apobetics,
Dr. Weishampel said:

"From my reading of the fossil record of dinosaurs, no direct ancestors
have been discovered for any dinosaur species. Alas, my list of
dinosaurian ancestors is an empty one."

To which the reply came:

"I'm certain that I never said or wrote the quote you sent me. I never
say "alas", for one thing. And I've never been asked about ancestors,
nor have I ever made any comments on whether they can be identified in
the fossil record. So I conclude that Mr. Apobetics has created the
quote himself."

Again, I have attached Dr. Weishampel's response, so you can check it
out for yourself.

> It is really THAT simple.

You you really are that dishonest.

The real question is: is there no end to stupidity? Of course, that is a
rhetorical question as we all know the answer to it.

Yeah, I lost a gross on Assman on his last 'informative' journey through
this NG.
