No, he probably just started huffing bug spray again.

Well, I never said he was a *good* troll. <G>
It doesn't take intelligence, cleverness or even originality to be a
sucessful troll. All it takes is an audience that, for whatever
reason, can't resist responding to your inanities even though they
*know* you're trolling. For better or worse, alt.atheism is that
audience.

That's true.

No. Zachy is a construct, a fictional means to a Usenet end. The threads he initiates share a common persona -- Zacharias Mulletstein and his various oddities -- but they do not necessarily share a common theme or even a common set of 'facts'.
In that sense, Zachy can be thought of as the Aeon Flux of alt.atheism.

He's never been clear about that, but he has indicated a certain
fondness more than once for the older products before the regulations
focused more on consumer safety -- perhaps they were more potent?

Percentage of active ingredient in consumer-grade insecticides
is less than 0.1%, so effects would mostly be imagined. WalMart
has reeled them in a sucker.

I am of the opinion that this younster is not matured.
He is lost and I do not if we can bring him back to his sense...he is
vulnerable to any thing, bug spray, religion, drug, etc
He is on drug because he knows that he can be forgiven.
But, if he is an atheist, he has to follow the law of the day and drug
is forbidden.

Well, yes...but some of us here still think some trolls such as Zachy
can be salvaged.
You don't think so?

He is, according to his own words in another thread, twenty years old.
But I know that being a certain age doesn't necessarily confer
maturity upon the person.
My eldest brother used to claim that he knew more than me because he
was older than me.

I suspect the problem is religion rather than drugs.
And the rule is "so that sins may be forgiven".
Which means a lot of the alleged Christians one encounters in these
newsgroups are in for a rude awakening if their alleged deity turns
out to be real.
To be honest I think their alleged deity would be far happier with
people who questioned things the way Thomas Didymus did.

Some times trolls can. Or so I've heard. But Zacky is playing a role.
It is unlikely he will come out.
> You don't think so?
There is only one sure cure for trolls. For the reasons outlined
succinctly by Mr. Baker, that cure is near impossible to implement
successfully in alt.atheism.
