My PFY (literally) asked me today about what I thought was the best way to align a spreadsheet he's making, of servers and their memory/disk/load/ usage characteristics. Today I went with friend to the local small computer shop, where I buy the stuff I need. I'd spec'd a machine for her and their price to me was £250 plus the dreaded VAT.
