Is CJL really the Asshole he seems to be?

Forgive me asking this, perhaps I missed something way back, but is
cjl (whoever he is) really the ignorant asshole he seems to be or is
he only attempting clumsily to wind everyone up?

I've met a few bigots and know-it-alls in my time but never anyone so
keen on such pointlessly unintelligent abuse as he regularly doles
out.

And why the continual harping about potential OS/8 improvements (sic)?
Surely noone in their right mind would want to get stuck into any sort
of redevelopment nowadays?

Oh well, as they say, it takes all sorts (but not too many of cjl's
sort eh?)

In short, no. In my very previous life, I have the honor of saying
that I personally knew CJL and his is not in fact an asshole. He has
the curious distinction of having forgotten more about many subjects
than most people will ever know. Often times this has caustic
results. I will challenge that anyone who is inquiring of another's
asshole status may in fact need to find a mirror.
