I've been trying to get subscribed to the lists on classiccmp.org for
a long time. The demon says that it is awaiting approval from the
moderator. I assume the moderator has fallen into a black hole, or
something.

I've been trying for a couple of years. Still no go.
If you find a way to join (or an address to send the flowers for the dear
departed moderator), please let us know.
