Hi, all!

I'm selling my collection of PDP-11 systems, parts, books, and
miscellany. My time has been eaten by other pursuits, and my
collection is just taking up too much space.

I live in BC, Canada, just across the border from Sumas, WA. I'd
rather hand over the bigger pieces in person if possible, as I learned
the joys of shipping large objects while assembling this
collection. ($700+)

I'm willing to part with most of this stuff for free, if you come pick
it up yourself. Though, I feel like the first system, which nearly
works, is still worth something.

I've also posted a few photos here:

** System 1 -- Mostly Working
This system worked for a good while before it started to behave
strangely the last few times I used it. (ODT sent every character over
the serial line twice.) I'd be willing to bet that a new CPU card is
all this system needs.

- 1 OBA11-MB Chassis with H9270 4x4 Backplane and power supply
(converted to work w/120V outlets).
- 1 M8186 rev. D0 CPU (Flaky)
- 1 M7955 MSV11-CD 32KB MOS Memory Card
- 1 M7940 DLV11 Serial Line Interface w/ RS-232 DTE connector

** System 2 -- Mostly Toast
The power supply in this system died, and took some of the cards with
it. Last I checked, the CPU will sometimes echo characters over the
serial line, but mostly babbles like a madman, and definitely won't
run programs. I haven't tested the other ones. Don't hold your breath.

- 1 BA11-MA H9270 Chassis w/4x4 Backplane (I removed the toasted
power supply, which is now squirrelled away in a corner somewhere,
half-fixed.)
- 1 M7264 CPU (Definitely Toast)
- 1 KEV11 Extended Arithmetic Function
- 1 M7955-YJ MSV11-CD 32KB MOS Memory Card
- 1 M9400-YA LSI Ref Boot Cable Conn
- 1 M7946 RXV11 LSI Interface

** Miscellaneous Components -- Mostly Untested
- 1 M8059-KF 128 Kword MOS RAM: I bought this from a dealer, but
never got around to using it. It really *should* work, but no
guarantees.
- 1 M7940 DLV11 Serial Line Interface
- 1 DLV11J 4 Line Serial Interface
- 1 M7726 Floppy Disk Controller Board
- 1 M7727 Read/Write Control Board
- 1 RX01 Power Supply Board
- 2 RX01 Disk Drives

Please note, the disk drives are *just the drives*, and they are
*heavy*. And, while I do have the controller cards, there is no power
supply. If you're adventurous, you can wire one up from the diagrams,
either procured from the Internet or those included. (I was not
adventurous, and never bothered to get them working.)

** Library of DEC books and other publications

- Read/write control (M7727-0-1)
- H771-A-Power connections (H771-A-1)
- RX01 Power board Assembly (7010718-0-0)
- RX01 Power supply (5411398-0-1)
- LSI REF. BOOT CONN. (M9400-0-1)
- Floppy controller firm ware (RX01-0-2)
- 4k RAM (M7944-0-1)
- H780 Power Supply (5411776-0-0) [pcb layout]
- H780 power supply (5411776-0-1) [schematic drawing]

** 11 8-inch Floppies
As of ten years ago, these had DEC'S RT-11 FB operating system on
them. I never got the drives working, so I have no idea to what
extent the data has been corrupted.

Let me know if you're interested!
