I recently purchased a J-11 chip on eBay, and have obtained the user
guide by searching the web. I am intending to build a single-board
computer with it, but I have a couple of questions:

What speed of crystal should I use? Speeds from 3.75MHz to 18MHz have
been mentioned on websites. I think I have one of the later chips
(57-19400-09, date 9323)

Any hardware details I need to know that aren't in the user guide?
(Not 'real' QBUS/UNIBUS stuff, I'm using Intel and Z80 peripherals,
and I have already designed some interface stuff to go into a CPLD. I
have no previous PDP-11 experience but have built SBCs with other
processors- 6502, 8085, Z80. It's an interesting challenge.)

Things I need to know about using the PDP-11 backend to GCC to cross-
compile for it.

Thanks in advance,
David
