Hello everyone,
my (emulated) TOPS-10 host crashed during the night (stopcode SCNRIA), but
could not take a dump because CRASH.EXE contained an older unprocessed dump.
That preceeding dump was from a continuable stopcode I was not aware of, at
least until I checked the console to see what has happened. So I discovered
that a previous dump was taken, and CRSCPY didn't copy it somewhere else
because the dump was from a continuable stopcode, and CRSCPY is automatically
run only on monitor reload. Unfortunately I was late at thinking about this.
So the question is: is there a way to schedule a CRSCPY run, say every night?
Or is there something I can do (besides patching code) to force the Monitor to
automatically overwrite any pending dump should it encounter a STOP stopcode?
At the moment, if there is no space in CRASH.EXE, the Monitor asks on CTY for
permission to overwrite its contents, and upon timeout it auto-answers "No".
Thanks! :)
