Device Antenna (RDA) for the computer referenced in the title above?
That computer is a 1998 model.
This device allows the Remote Control Device to talk to the computer's
software, called Destivu (v 2.0).

Computer was slowing down and now I can't get into Windows.
Hard drive seems OK as I can get the Windows restore options but they will not work and all I get is a blank screen with the mouse pointer.
Reticent to use OS restore disk as it is quite old and will wipe old files. Is this something I should not be concerned about? I do have... more »

I thought having the same model laptop would make troubleshooting very easy. Like sometimes, it is hard to know whether a problem is software or hardware. I my case, it is easy. Just pop the drive out and drop into another machine and now you know.
