OEM supplied Roxio CD/DVD bruner contains lots of crap. I need a
freeware to burn CD/DVD. What is your recommendation?

Lots and lots.

Ashampoo Burning Studio Free and ImgBurn are popular ones.

CDBurnerXp or ImgBurn. I use both instead of any of the commercial
name-brand stuff... Ben Myers

The last one may be harder to find.
