Dell going private

Mike Dell and other principals are looking to take Dell private again.

I am hoping they are making this move to get away from shareholders who
want a return on their investments and get back to making GOOD computers
again.

Don't get me wrong, Dell is still a decent computer, just not as good as
they were say 10 years ago. I have always felt that this was due to
shareholder pressure, wanting more profit; of course, everyone wants more
profit, but the product has been suffering. Hopefully, they will get back
to what they do best.

Now, if they can get away from Foxconn...

Someone told me Dell has built a factory in China that is about 20 miles
from the company this guy does business with. I /think/ he meant the
Foxconn plant, but he says it is a Dell factory.

Our office is FULL of older Dell computers dual core at 3.4ghz
They run great. Most OS is XP. I have 7.
I hate OS 8 btw.
