The way I figure it, everyone is entitled to a rant every now and

This is what happens in an un-moderated newsgroup. It isn't

I don't know about Steve/Rifleman because I killfiled him a very long
time ago. Every now and again I take him, read a post or two, see the
usual broad brush opinions and put him back in his place. He used to
be quite pro-American (people). He was a nice fellow. (He may still
be a nice fellow but certainly not on Usenet IMO). Now, in my
opinion, he's a tedious bore although tacked onto someone else's post
recently I did read a rather nice post he made (oh, I see that it was
in this thread). Surprised the hell out of me. Very few people on
Usenet have been able to get to me (despite their best efforts) but I
have to admit that Steve has really distressed me. (yeah, awwwww).

I see no reason for either of these two gentleman to be positive about
the US government. A good many of us aren't either. I suspect that
they wouldn't even be posting all the stuff they do if it weren't for
the reactions they get out of you and a few others. Well, maybe Steve
would. I'd like to say that the bad decisions made by our government
are none of their business, but, unfortunately, that isn't the case.
What we do affects just about everyone, everywhere. I'd be really
happy if it didn't - if we just minded our own business.
Bob B seems like a very nice person and I give Myal credit for a lot
