E Teflon Piano

There is a surreal painting I once saw set in -- I think -- the Paris
Metro of disaffected/alienated people. Can anybody recall either the name
of the painting or the artist? I recall it as beging somewhat Magrittish,
but I'm unable to find it under his name. I've conducted a Web search of
"surreal + metro" and goten no useful hits.
Somewhere along the line I've lost the survey of postwar painting
that catalogued it.

founder of the Internet Legal Society.[dibs] Teflon is DuPont Corporation's
trade name for poly(tetrafluoroethylene). E is E poly(TFE) Piano Enterprises'
tradememe for satire, calculated misstatements and ironic hyperbole.
