She is quite the well-built ambiguity, isn't she?

Shiva was not fooled by the lies that they told
because Shiva was more than 7000 years old,
By their ignorance, Shiva was peeved
By their bigotry, she was aggrieved,
but she still had a trick or two, up her sleeve,
with an ancient wisdom, dating back to Adam and Steve
Into a warrior, the angered Shiva morphed-

crushed the Ignorance as if it were a demonic dwarf

Her flaming Halo made it seem like Halloween
With fiery horns, she filled her bag with candy corn-

shouting thinly veiled threats, of "Trick-or-Tritium!"
She began to chant a polymorphous perverse Mantra
She threw not one, but many,
transcendent, transexual, Temper Tantra
While crows picked at the rotting eyes of the carrion,
Shiva continued dramatizing, and carrying on...

This link might have been a bit more interesting if the poster
had given the audience a reason to care about Shiva. Granted,
many links need little more than their content to explain their
relevance (ie. civil liberties, terrorists, friday flash).
However, some of these more obscure links might need more of an
introduction (posting an excerpt of the article works in many
cases, but not this one). Sudama, tell us why we need to read

Enlightenment, my friend. Do you really need a reason to be
educated? Does every aspect of life need some sort of
explanation to be of relevance to you? I don't mean to sound
mean. But quite honestly, Shiva, and Hinduism, play a great role
in over 1 billion lives in the world. Perhaps the better
question is, "Tell us why we don't need to read about Shiva?"
you don't have to read about shiva, but you may want to. before
you are cleansed with fire i mean.

Shiva's full name is an actual mantra, or prayer. Om namah
shivaya. This can be spelled many ways, but this is the one that
sounds much like it reads. But it is much easier to just call

names to.

This is the personal log of Captain Bryant L. Karyzantail on the
second jazura of the SHIVA project.
Utilizing the Kyon emission technology recovered from Khaak
vessels, Argon scientists were able to create an artificial
wormhole by concentrating twelve beams in one spot; thus
creating a cascading resonance that was able to make a small
gateway around 3.5' by 3.5'
It has just recently come to my attention that they are now
planning an actual excavation to the other side of the wormhole.
A select few ships, who are now calling themselves 'NOVAEF,' are
the first selected for this mission.
I only can hope that we find a way home. Hopefully, this

Today is the test day of the wormhole. So far, all the readouts

How did you learn of the Hindu legend of Mohini & Shiva? What
inspired you to make it the basis of a film?
While my dad is not Indian, he lived in India for several years,
so our house was chock full of Indian tchotchkes. Religious
statues. Tapestries. Brass spittoons. "Pier One" kind of stuff.
You can't grow up with all those cool knickknacks and not have
it effect you in some weird way.
One of my dad's more intellectual acquisitions from India was a
book of Hindu mythology. I used to pour through it as a kid, '
cause the pictures were so incredibly hot. Not quite Kama Sutra,
but pretty damn close--especially to a six-year-old! According
to mythology, Mohini was a male god who came down to earth in
bewitching female form to entice and couple with Shiva, the male
god of abstinence. I guess you could say that Mohini was the
world's first drag queen (after Ru Paul, of course). I learned
almost everything I know about drag queens from that little book.
I uncovered the rest from my ... er ... research at gay bars
over the years.

When Carol found the NSA rat nest, I used the Shiva to spin some
reconstructing orgone into their midst. She saw the board
operators freeze up in terror in rapid succession as the energy

attack, then the boss came in to fill the gap. These guys are

Results indicate that RAVEN and RAGE are in excellent agreement
for the calculated shock trajectory.

Here there are a lot of contradictory terms, consistent with
the contradictory (to westerners) Theology attached to the Devil-

I might add that posting the same message on lots of different
topics within the Rumor Mill is edging on spam, and we don't
need that. Everyone here values information about "agents" like

With Westerners, there's a stereotype that Shiva represents pure
destruction.
There is. The form of dancing Shiva dances the world into
extinction, but that same dance continues to bring it back into
creation. It's the cyclical concept of time that India has. If
you're looking for logic, you say, "How can it be?"
For the worshipper, Shiva is everything. There's a sort of
outdated idea of a creator, preserver, and destroyer- dividing up
the functions. But for a believer, Shiva does all of that.
Shiva is a paradoxical figure. He wears eccentric clothes.
Sometimes he has serpents wrapped around him like a scarf or a
belt, and wears a skull in his hair. The saints seem to have
played with that eccentricity instead of hiding it. They played
it up, almost as if they felt people listening to their poems
would ask about it.
