Redwings Handboard Bodysurfing Championships -- 6/27/09

Totally sunburnt from the weekend. I entered handboard, paipo, even
tray divisions (kooked, but had fun). Saw some sick rollos and even a
couple of belly spins. The Stewart/Dubb heat on Sat was insane (I just
was paddling in--argh!). Been trying to upload all my pics, but to no
avail. Here are a few:

Nice. Looks like a great day to be in the water. Wish I coulda been
there.
Two questions:
Were there any pure BSers, or did everybody ride on something?
Does that place get any better than that? (Hard to imagine.)
