Went out to stretch my legs. Conditions were great with light offshores and sunny skies. Unfortunately, there was only a tiny pulse of swell coming in, and it hit negative low tide. Looking for an opportunity, I saw a bunch of groms on the beach. Coach Rainos Hayes was teaching some lucky BB kids about the lineup and competitive surfing. Mostly around 8-12, these kids absolutely ripped. Was wondering why they weren't in school though. Ended up having to wade/stand/crawl in/on/over the reef.
