NS today -- 12/29/11 (missing Pipe)

Went out early to catch a few before the crowds came. Surf was smaller
than expected, not double-overhead, but still decent (seemed like the
swell was missing Pipe). I didn't do well at all.

The photography however was fun. There were a few neat moments despite
the waves kind of shutting down (straight nw plus lots of sand).

There was another photog who came out. He looked apprehensive going in
front of me to shoot with his fisheye. I told him it was ok to get in
front of me, and he was very relieved I think.
