Actually, that was the same day, Doc. Too much content to stuff into
one haiku. Great session started with a couple of hard face plants on
late drops not quite nailed. One of those cost me my hat and earplugs.
Got some epic rides in between (and loving the warmth of my brand new
4/3 wetsuit- kept me toasty where I'd been freezing my butt off in a 2-
mil the day before). Last wave of the day ended with the previously
documented fin cut to the forehead.

All in a day's work. That hat had a good run before I lost it. And it
was a cold day to be without one.
