Hey everyone.

I was just wondering if peope could throw out some suggestions on what
I could ask my doc to test me for.

My left hand has a moderate tremor. I (didnt) noticed it about 5
months ago when holding a pot of water and my hand shaking. And now, 5
months later it shakes horribly when holding a piece of paper or
trying to smoothly move my pointer finger away from my hand. So its
getting worse.
I seem to also have some other problems with trembling in other parts
of my body such as my head but i must admit im so bothered by my left
hand it might just be me.
I also have allot of muscle spasms and twitches.

I have went to the doc already and she (besides putting me
anti-depressents that i just stopped taking) confirmed the tremor and
sent me for an MRI. The MRI came back negative and on the follow up
visit (besides doubling my anti-depressents that made me feel like
crap, thus why i stopped taking them) she set me up to see a
nerologist at the end of this month.

So what im looking for are things/tests i could talk to her about. I
see her again in 2 weeks.

So far im thinking of asking her to test me for Lyme disease.
other things i think i may have is an Essential Tremor, Parkinsons
(although my hands dont twitch while at rest) and MS does run in my
family.

My symptoms are:
Moderate tremor in left hand.
A good amount of twitches and spasms when at rest

and beyond that my if i try to move my head smoothly from looking from
left to right at certain times its "jumpy" (side to side).
*however* on this last part it may be due to the meds that i stopped
taking that were Prozac (20mgs for about 3 weeks and 40 for this last
week and Wellibutrin SR 150mg twice a day for about a week). The
combination of the two made me feel like crap and made me very
depressed. Im hoping the head thing is due to that because having my
hands shake is one thing.. but im not sure i could deal with my head
shaking.

Anyhow.. thanks for any info.

I have all these issues and got a nerve testing done at the neurologist and
it came back fine. My Neurologist dignosed me with Essential tremors, but
now a couple years later it is getting worse. I see you posted this in
2003, what are your symptoms now?
