Over the weekend, dday and other California bloggers made the trek to
the California Democratic Party convention in Sacramento, and pushed
through a resolution calling for the House to begin an impeachment
inquiry into Torture Judge Jay Bybee, who sits on the 9th Circuit
Court of Appeals. dday led the impressive online effort, so we're
helping him out. If you were of a mind to contact the members of the
House Judiciary Committee and ask them to take action, you could do it
here:

Thank you for the original post with which I agree completely. "The
ends justifies the means" as a concept of law is, instead, destructive
of the concept of law. It gives no affect to the concept of individual
rights and liberties and the rule of law.
. The following are paragraphs included in the Magna Charta which King
John of England was forced to sign in 1215 by the Magna Charta Barons:
• 39. No freeman shall be taken, or imprisoned, or disseized, or
outlawed, or exiled, or in any way harmed--nor will we go upon or send
upon him--save by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of
the land.
• 40. To none will we sell, to none deny or delay, right or
justice.

Not only should he be removed from office, but he should also be
disbarred by the ABA so he can never practice law in any capacity.
