ok, this question is bad enough. i alway say if i had a dollar for every time
i was asked that quesion, i would make as much as an NBA player.
but what kills me, what really kills me. is when i say-- "nope, i am more an
artist than an athelete." they shake their heads and say, 'what a waste.'
gee, thanks.
i guess the only thing for a 6'5" woman to do with her life is play basketball.
anything else, is merely a waste.

After I got suitably sick of this I've gotten to where I can usually size
up how tall these people mentally are and start BSing them:
Do you play basketball?
Does a chicken have lips?
Who for?
I'm the new center for the bucks, want my autograph?
And like my friends say, when the person asking is a bimbo with a bod,
I should take advantage of that too, or at least send her home with them
;-)

see your lucky. chicks always dig tall guys.
but only the super freaks really seem to groove on the super-tall broads like
me.
ah, such is life.
"No, do you play mini-golf?" Check out www.tall.org for comebacks to
common annoying questions.

Now you can be a just unemployed. See if they pay attention to sports and/or have
any sympathy for your "just unemployed."
Sadly middle January the full season women's league folded leaving the WNBA, a 1/2
season and simple play off league.

Ask them if they went out and supported womens professional sports, especially womens
professional basketball (see my other AST NG post about women's bb options). If yes,
then thank them. If no, ask them how they expect you to have the opportunity to go
out and play a professional sport.
Many female professional athletes leave USA to play professionally since the options
are not in USA, e.g., volleyball, basketball, soccer (football outside USA),
etcetera. Men do the same for some sports, e.g., soccer (football outside USA).

I can believe that. Seems like everyone of my tall female friends has
a story about some freak giving them grief.

The real issue is how the individual handles the approach and the answer of not
interested and/or don't bother me. The don't bother me can be conveyed through body
language and if the party is alert then they will not ask the question. Also, if you
say no and that you prefer not to speak further, maybe even prefer not to speak for
this question, with the individual and they disappear then such is not so bad.
I do activities that are unique and people always stop and watch or follow. It is
interesting to watch them decide as to whether they can approach and ask or stay away
and don't bother me.
Take care.
