Just talked to Cat! Healing Circle News!

Cat just called, she sounded good and told me she is going in tomorrow for
surgery.
When I asked her she said she was scared, but it must have been a healthy
kind of
scared because she sounded like herself and like I said, she sounded good.
During the surgery they are going to check if it’s in her lymph nodes. If it
isn’t, they’ll
take out the cancer by taking a small bit of her lung. If it however is in
her lymph nodes,
they are going to close her up again without taking it out and let her do
chemo and radiation
first. So we need it to be *not* in the lymph nodes to get this over and
done with as soon and
smoothly as possible and with the least amount of time spent waiting and get
her healed up
and ready for whatever is coming next, like chemo.
Cat said (y)our prayers have worked great so far and that she’d love some
extra prayers
tomorrow at 2 Chicago time for it *not* to be in her lymph nodes. (please
don’t mind me
referring to it as ‘it’) I’m hopeful, because she told me earlier about
scans and nothing
being visible on them, so please all stay as positive as possible here. If
you have some
extra time, you might want to pray for Cat to be not too scared and for her
to stay positive
and pray for her husband to be ok as he waits for her, because sitting there
waiting… must
be maddening, right? So please get some prayers or good vibes his way as
well.

Someone just posted on the new place that Cat is out of surgery, lymph nodes
were clear and all went well!!!
She will be in the hospital for a few days...
