Have one last look at the photos and see if you can guess who they are...

Then go here and check the answers to see how close you were:

That was so much fun! Thank you for all of the work you put into it.
Annette
Thanks for all your work, Jef. I didn't participate, but it was fun
to see the results. The only two I guessed at (Chris/eightpans and
Sarah) I got right.
Sue

Marsha wins for cutest picture, IMHO, with eightpans a close second. I
never, ever would have guessed that was Marsha. But now that you tell me,
yup, that's her.
How many people voted and how many people guessed me (me me me!) correctly?
I was sixteen years old in that photo, singing the role of Josephine in
Gilbert & Sullivan's "HMS Pinafore" on stage at my high school. I was
scared shitless.
I was as totally duped by Les's photo as others apparently were. Great
surprise!
I could go on and on, and probably will tomorrow, but for now I'll just say
thank you, Jef. You really know how to show a girl a good time.

damn, I can't get the link here at home so I have no clue about the
results.
Out of curiosity though, who had the most correct answers?
And so cool you did this Jef :-D
thanks Jef, lots of fun.
Steph
homeliest kid EVAH!
A tie between Lynn and Chris (eightpans). Wait'll ya see the trophy!
Sue
I will email you a few others. You'll see how that face hasn't changed
appreciably since she was 4 or 5...
What a cute bunch of kids, eh? Who knew?
> How many people voted and how many people guessed me (me me me!)

27 people voted. Only 5 picked you correctly. 7 picked me correctly. Lynn
was picked 20 times, Debbie 11 times and Sarah 10 times
>... You really know how to show a girl a good time.
I'm a cheap date.
Gimme a web-authoring program and a graphics manipulation program, and I'm
yours for a song.
Wow I really do suck. I only got myself & Lynn. I almost got eightpans
& no fair on Les @ # 1, because pg 5 wasn't listed amonst the
possibles. Actually better that less pages were listed, I probably
only got Lynn out of some sort of stastistical fluke.
I felt flattered that some of the ladies thought they dated me
though:-0
Thanks for running the show Jef, I better stick to trivia...
Well I never Myself and my quit buddy Lynn:) Well Done Jef !!! NIce

Jef, even though I didn't guess any of the pix, I really think this is
one of your best contributions ever to this motley crew. Kept us all
guessing and laughing and really appreciating what a great group this
is. I even sent the links to my quit buddy Ken Allen who doesn't
visit the group these days. He is way too busy in his new smokefree
life in New Orleans. His 11 year anniversary was November 10 while
mine will be on November 20. But we were quit buddies nevertheless.
He was in New York a couple of months ago and we finally got together
for an all-too-brief real life visit.
Thanks a bunch.

Well, fuckity, fuckity, fuck-- as the Great Sage once put it.
How'd I miss that? I got too complicated for my own good...
Next time, then!
just kidding :P
I must say Jef this competition has given me a whole new fantasy it
involves
1. Time machine
2. A Bath full of Treacle
3. Lynn, Leslie,Cindy, Ashley,Sarah,Joyce (in no particular order)
You were hot then and I am sure you are hot now but it's my fantasy
and the time machine stays:)
Omissions are cos I because I am not like Leslie's band leader

And boy have you changed. I guessed it was you because Jef gave the hint
about the snapshot being sent by mail, and none of the rest of the photos
looked any more like you than your own did. (Did I say that right?)
I think you were a beautiful child. Not homely. More what we used to call
"goinky." :-) Complete with crooked glasses. I'm surprised they weren't
held together with tape.
You were Bruce's favorite in the array. He couldn't believe the contrast in
pictures.
What's it like to grow from a plain Jane to a beautiful woman?

Chris, you ain't so bad yourself, you know.
But treacle sounds so ... sticky. I'm just sayin.
Oh my. What an incredibly nice question! Thank you!
Credit goes to peroxide, orthodontia, preventative dermatology, hair
curlers, straighteners etc., contacts, and most of MAC's line.
I'd say that on the one hand I appreciate being able to look nice more
than someone else who might have grown up beautiful.
That said, I rarely doll up. Usually wear my glasses, no makeup etc.,
so I'm likely looking more like my 3rd grade picture than ever.
It is nice to know I can pull it off if I have to (although it takes
longer and longer with less impressive results).
I LOVE your HMS P picture! Daddy taught us most of HMS P and we'd
sing it around the piano. You're beautiful then and now!
xoxo
Lynn thank you. Things got significantly worse (say, all of the teen
years) before they got better. And they got better thanks to a
variety of chemical products, processes, and some fine doctors. Trust
me, had I lived in Little House on the Prairie days things would have
continued on that rather desperate trajectory.
And I am the subject of no drool. One has to leave one's books and
one's house to possibly be the subject of drool <sigh>.
xoxo
Stephanie
No-- you were picked correctly a few times, strangely enough. I think 5 or 6
people got you.
Your photo's a bit small and grainy, compared to the larger headshots; makes
it a bit tougher.
The only ones who *completely* defied identification were Les and Cindy.

Don't feel bad, Rickh, I only got 3 or 4 (including myself!). And I
didn't look on page 5 either. LOL
Cindy M.
I knew no one would guess me. LOL I don't look ANYTHING like I did in
high school.
Cindy
I agree with everyone else, GREAT JOB Jef! That was much fun! And all
the kid pix were so CUTE! :)

Is that Lombo, Nevada or Lombo New York?

That's Lombo-- the place where Rambo has to wait around before he goes to
Hell.
He can Mambo while he's there, to kill time, or order the Combo Meal from
the guest menu.

Not very. Overwhelming sadness with a dollop of guilt, a dash of

Thanks, Lynn. I've been giving this some serious consideration. I'm
sure that I'm still in a natural grieving process, but if things don't
improve after the holidays I'm going to have to do something.
I'm so sorry for your mom, but I'm glad she is learning independence.
That can be very difficult.
I'm guessing you take after your father. :o)
