According to Health Canada, hypnosis iz not effectiv. The problem iz
that they might be used to seeing "double-blind, randomized,
placebo-controlled studies" az the gold standard of scientific
validation of any health remedy: You cannot make that gold standard
into a mirror on hypnosis, though -- no way to make untreated
control subjects unaware that they are not being treated.

I am partial to a disk of Paul McKenna. It's about twenty-six
minutes, in stereo, with music. I wish I could say that I've made it
work. In a partial manner, I hav made it work. He says that my
health will improve. I think it haz. I just haven't manajed to quit
smoking for more than a day, yet.

Paul is an OK hypnotist. Not really that good, but OK.

Do a net search of McKenna's history
He has been: DJ, repeat stage hypnosis show goer, hypnosis show stealer (ask Andrew Newton
about his stolen show - the show was stolen word for word, line by line) , hypnosis show
volunteer disaster, hypnosis show lawsuit, shu stage hypnosis shop, rebrand as hypnotherapist,
outing by national newspaper of fake diploma mill doctorate degree, a win on the resulting
lawsuit against paper on a technicality, the theft of a website in the USA that existed BEFORE he
created his books of a similar name, bed buddy of bandler etc etc.

You may also want to check the UK Advertising Standards Authority about the McKenna adverts
that were stopped, then go and lood very carefully at the wording of the adverts that have been
used since then.

Yes Mckenna can use hypnosis, but there are many many more unsung heros in the hypnosis
and NLP communities who do more for their clients every day all over the world.

Of course a client has free judgement to spend their money where ever they choose to, but let
the buyer beware.
