I'm sure you remember all that braggin I did about our great
California weather while you were freezing you ass off up there in
Canukistan. Well, the chickens have come home to roost. When I got
home from work today (a little after 5:00) my thermometer said 109
degrees. I suspect that that is a little high but I'm sure we're well
over 100. At least it isn't humid. I'll leave that to Ashley and the
rest of the Southerners.
Sue who is thinking about breaking down and getting the AC fixed in
her car with her stimulus check.

Yikes! That be hot!

It's been nice here ... I hope to open the pool this weekend or early
next week.

This is a holiday weekend here, and my nephew's birthday so we're off
to see him (he's been transferred to Ontario -- Peterborough to be
exact) and take some bread and cookies and pies etc.

That's it!!!

Stay in the shade eh!

Cheers!

It gets that hot up there? We get plenty of over 100 degree days but
not usually this early.

this is early for this heat

July is 90 to 95F
Aug is 85 to 90F
then, thankfully, it drops in Sept (around 75F by the middle of the month)
June is 'rainy season, but only for 3 or 4 days, but non-stop rain, the
temps in June can be just about anything!

this is the long weekend here in Canuckistan, and in my area, it has
snowed 9/9 long weekends............ guess this weekend is going to
break the 'streak' :)
