This is a good feeling. This feeling makes all the hardship of the first
months worthwhile.
My heart goes out to you newbies but at the end of the day it is up to you.
I can only assure you that what you are doing is so very worthwhile.
I thank each and every one of you for being there for me. I think of you as
my extended family and I love you all

Woo Hoo Chris! You are only 10 seconds late reporting this wonderful
milestone, so you won't need a note from your mama! <G> Does this
make you a Double Very Old Fogie? As keeper of the QuitList I do
dream up some doozies at times. But anyway, this is *your* day to
celebrate, so sit back and enjoy as The Original Yodeling Gnomes head
your way, along with Horace, the Huffing Hogg, to sing songs of
smobriety to help you celebrate this fine achievement!

Wow ChrisB, when I first found AS3 you had less than a year on that
very same meter - you've been a complete inspiration and one of the
main reasons I've kept coming back here - CONGRATULATIONS on 6 years
of well earned freedom and thank you for always being here.

Big congratulations on your six years of freedom, Chris. I just love
to see the folks here forging ahead on their quests to be smokefree.
I like the concept of AS3 as an extended family. That has certainly
been true for me and I know I could not have done it without this huge
and wonderful family.

Six years, that's amazing. Good for you.

When I saw the header I was thinking six days & would have said the
same thing!

I'm pretty good at "quitting for a while". I've quit for several
months at a time, once for two years. It is the long run that counts,
though, I think. I think. I think I think I think. I think I'm on the
same trail as you. I'm still in the middle of day three, though. ODAAT.

If you are on day 3 - or day 5 by now - you are getting into your stride
and, as you have had 2 years under your belt, you know you have to put your

I wish you well. I'm sure you have the will power to crack it this time.

Wow, almost 11,000 pounds saved! At the current exchange rate, you
could probably buy yourself a decent, though modest new American
car. ;-)

Sincerest congratulations Chris!

Every long and successfully quit is a star in the night sky that new
and soon-to-be quitters stare upon.

Yours is a particularly nice one, tinkling red and blue like winking
