Exactly. The problem is, Lask, and a few others, believe their own
imaginary ideas about me. I am well liked at work, do my job well, and have
none of the issues that they wish to believe I do. It all becomes quite

Well, so much for any credibility that Mable has. Sad that this person has

Mable, like Lask, is someone who has led a very hard life, and they have to
take that out on others. Nope, my life has not been perfect, and yes,
sometimes I can allow myself to slip down to their level, but unlike Mable,
I make no pretensions of perfection. It's funny, in a way. Mable has
accused me of being obsessed, but Mable is looking pretty obsessed. Oh
well, Mable is typical of several who have passed through here. Another
fool to join the ranks of Blake, Jeannette, Scary Gary, Lask, Arune, and

Others are happy with 2 Akers and a mobile home and a garden in

> I will never understand why mable has not had SRS unless it is because
> male privlage is so hard to give up.
The answer is simple. Mable did not really need SRS. It wa simply not
important enough. I doubt that male privelege has that much to do with it.
At least not directly. Yes, it is hard for me to comprehend someone
claiming to ber a woman, and not wanting SRS, but I do realize that there
are people who, for whatever reason, are that way. And that is their right.
What I really have a problem with is when they let their own feelings of
insecurity and even inferiority cause them to treat others badly.
> Then again it could be that mable is only part time has not even changed
> her name.
No, I knew this person, and as far as I can tell, they were full time. And
I can even imagine that Mable thinks that it was not financially possible,
or some other excuse, but it simply was not that important.
> Oh well.....
>
> Someone who was truly transsexual would grab the first chance to have that
> thing fixed.
Exactly. As I have said, out of about seven MTFs (including myself) who
worked on the project I used to worked on, who all had access to surgical
benefits (four still do) two of us had SRS. One, who is currently not
working, has said she wants surgery (she is fighting with UCSF over being
terminated). The others have simply not had enough motivation. Some have
talked about it, one even took a trip to meet with a surgeon, but I
seriously doubt any will actually have SRS. Not that there is anything
wrong with that. But, they are all full time, living and working in a
female role, but they also all wish to keep their penises.
> That right there separates the posers from the real ones.
What puzzles me is why such people have to claim they are just like those
who have SRS. Clearly they are not. Why do they feel this need to claim to
be something they are not?

Disparaging anyone does no good. Especially if you do not know their

Yes. Shoot, an increasing number of transsexuals are working at UCSF. The
surgical benefit, and the fact that it is easier to get on than at the City,
is bringing them in. Of course, that said, the City is also an option if
one really wants SRS. If nothing else, they were recently hiring bus
drivers.

They are transgender, not transsexual. Simply put, there is a difference.

Of course not. That is why we are different from them. Not superior, just
different. They don't share our experience, so why do they feel the need to
claim they do?

Mable's argument makes no sense. Five years ago, I was looking into ways of
financing my surgery. Even today, Mable does not seem to have made any real
efforts. Four years ago, I was starting back to school, so I could earn the
money. Three years ago, I was on the verge of going to work at UCSF,
knowing it would pay for my surgery. It doesn't happen overnight, but it is
doable.

I agree with the just different part.
I have always felt they claim to share our experiences because
we are more acceptable in the mainstream then they are. Everyone
can easily identify with a birth defect, they find it harder to
identify with a consious choice to change sex or claim to change
sex.

Interesting. But sometimes, good old deduction is more fun.

I can't say that I blame you.

You know, if, as some claim, this were my entire life, I would be one truly
sad person. But, it is not. Still, it is said how nasty some people can
become. Mable has earned my disrespect. Which is kind of ironic, because
Mable is trying to bully me into respect. Kind of a vicious circle.

well we may never know what the motives of some people are.

What, you mean the experience of living in a case-managed
bedbug-infested welfare hotel with the bathroom down the hall for umm,
SIX YEARS? Is that the experience to which you refer?
How come it took my terminally ill weak ass FOUR MONTHS to get back on
my feet but SIX YEARS LATER you still need transitional housing?
Yeah you're right, I am not a bit like you. I have actully worked as a
woman most of my adult life, with most coworkers oblivious to my
transsexualism. I lived that way in the South, in the NorthEast,
in the Pacific NorthWest, and in the SouthWest, in small towns, cities,
and in the deep country. I have lived as a woman.
You never have -- and likely never will. And that's the truth you
cannot bear.

It's your argument that makes no sense; you didn't address anything I
actually said. The point is I would have to be what, 53 years old to be
the same age as you when you had yours. So when you were my age you
were not post-op.
Too omplicated a concept for you is it?
mtsg
You have no respect for *anyone* and I certainly do not believe I can
compell your respect. I will be pleased if you ever snap out of your
evil false-ego induced trance, but at this point as you are like the
little boy pulling wings off insects for years and years on a daily
basis I have little hope for you.

I will miss you Elaine
You have been one who has contributed a great deal to this
group.

and this justifies what you did?
Yes you have reached a new low.
Have a nice Life

That is true. That is why I believe in strictly following the Standards of
Care.

True.

This is true.

I think that plays a major factor. But they don't help themselves, or us.
If it really is a birth defect, you want to have it corrected. If you don't
feel the need to have it corrected, then it is not a birth defect.

They do us a disservice by our not disassociating ourselves from
them.
I don't identify as TS or T-anything because i don't want to be
linked with that group.

I'm sorry to see you go. It is getting silly in here, I agree.

And given how low Mable has gone, that takes real effort.

Well you are free to exercise that option.
As for how "low" I have "sunk", I reckon that depends upon one's
perspective. I must say I do not care much for your perspective lately.
My perspective is simple:
This is supposed to be a support group.
Anyone who wishes to use it as an oppressive forum for some religious
idea of transsexualism (i.e. You, Jennifer, Sue, etc so far lately) is
NOT safe here. Anyone who is decent and respectful of others and their
differences will be fine. I have simply lost the willingness to
tolerate bullies like Jennifer Usher.
If you don't like it, piss off.
mtsg
P.S. I love you anyway.
The general public couldn't care if we were intersexed or martian, We
are different, they are like the Germans in the 30's, if they look
different get rid of them.
sex is irrelevant.

Wooooh, I have had 2 very great dogs named Bimbo.
Both large grey Ghosts. Weimaraner, pronounced Vimeroner, believed to
be the most
intelligent of dogs. Poodles (standard) second. Both were bread as
hunters. the thick fur on a poodle causes over heating, shaving them
keeps them cool in summer and in the field, the tufts of hair left at
the joints is to keep them warm and avoid injury to the joints.
.
Weimaraner come in two forms, long and short hair. Originally bread to
hunt deer, wolves and boar, they needed every edge they could get.
Slim and fast they could stay with anything on four feet.
Yet they could herd deer, not chase them as well. One we had was the
color of most of them, lead grey. But fawn is natural as well, a close
cousin to the Vizsla.
Its why they are so used in commercials, they can learn anything.
