I think it is a great idea for you to start a wikipedia page for
ASSRS. As you mentioned it will be a great way to raise your profile
within the HBS structure. We will talk about it all later but lets
just say we will create it all at the same time because it will hold
itself to its own weight on wikipedia.
Good luck with your website editing and speak to you soon!

I knew that post would get a reaction.
There are sub-humans on every continent.

True, but few are as persistent as this idiot.

Now, where have I seen the phrase "sub-human"??
Of course. Hitler's designation for non-Aryans. The type of phrase
that would come naturally to Usher and her remoras...

Willow, I know that messages like this are satisfying, like eating a big
ball of cotton candy. But they really don't provide any substantive value,
like the aforementioned cotton candy, and also is actually unhealthy.
I've been hoping you'd join in on the more substantitive discussions, as I
want to hear your viewpoint. And if you remember me from the past, you know
that I am not here just to feed anyone's ego or to push particular agendas,
but instead want to have quality discussions on the issues surrounding this
little problem we share called a gender identity discontinuity from expected
norms.
You've been silent so far. I'd like to hear your defense of Blanchard's
views in a substantitive way that deals with the science, not the
personalities of the people involved.

Oh my, a Godwin's Law violation....Arune automatically loses.
Godwin's Law:
[Usenet] "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a
comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." There is a tradition
in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever
mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in
progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper
bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely-
recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order
to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful. Godwin himself has
discussed the subject.

I have to say, such a defense would truly be novel, since as far as I can
tell, no such defense exists, even from Blanchard.

Firstly, the word "sub-human" has a very distinct and defined meaning
in history. It came quickly to mind as I was currently reading
several histories of the Eastern Front in WW1 and 2. As to the so-
called "Goodwin's Law", who cares? Chelsea has her views, but no more
authority than anyone else.
Secondly, if you expect a rational debate on any topic, inclusive of
either HBS or Blanchard's concepts, I suggest private correspondence.
I have no intention of visiting this place much and woudl certainly
not entertain any serious discussion here.

ROTFL! Arune gets caught and tries to blow it off. The purpose behind
Godwin's law is to point out how using an accusation of Nazism, such as
Arune is guilty of, trivializes the very real horrors of the Holocaust. Of
course, such concepts are lost on someone like Arune who is only interested
in scoring some imaginary points in a silly argument.

Simply put, Arune has lost the argument here more than once, and fears
having to face the facts again. He assumes in private he might not have
such problems.

Isn't it time you two overgrown school boys stopped bitching at each
other and behaved like the mature females you both claim to be :)
Pretty much everything posted here ends up being troll food for the Usher
monster anyway. It can't respond to anything without twisting it into an
opportunity to slam Willow, so why are you taking Willow to task?

I've found that, in actuality, both sides of the Godwin's Law table often
use it and the topic in question to score points in arguments.
And I suspect the real reason that the law exists is to point out that when
a discussion gets heated the most extreme insult someone can throw without
flaming the person is often a reference to the National Socialist programs
and pograms. Godwin's law acts both as a shield against such extremism and
also a shield when someone is actually as extreme, so it is functionally
useless as a marker or decision tool thanks to both it's use and abuse.
Because Willow is also a participant in the ongoing drama. Both Willow and
Jennifer are keeping this alive.

Actually, Mike Godwin himself has argued that overuse of Nazi and Hitler
comparisons should be avoided, because it robs the valid comparisons of
their impact. It is a lazy way of trying to score points in a debate. It
is worse when no real debate exists.
The person originally referenced is a persistent troll who regularly pops up
in this group in an attempt to get attention. I generally have him kill
filed, and rarely respond to his posts. In this case, I saw that one
because about a month ago my computer's hard drive crashed and had to be
replaced. Fortunately my system was under warranty, and I had a loner in
the meantime. Unfortunately, I have not reinstalled all the software I have
previously had in place, so that one slipped through, Otherwise, I would
have not even seen it.
No, the simple bottom line is that Nazi comparisons are overused, almost
always by people who are looking for an quick score.

You have to understand....some here have the same mentality expressed by
W....you're either on our side, or you are on the wrong side. Fairness and
balance are not acceptable. This bad joke simply chooses to ignore the fact
that I rarely, if ever, mention Arune unless he posts something attacking me
first. The only time I "slam" Arune is when Arune provides the
opportunity....by slamming me first.
Really, leading the men in here around by their noses is amusing. A guilty
pleasure if you will, but very, very amusing. They are so totally obsessed
with me that it can be a bit unnerving, but they do make it so much fun
anyway. I suppose it is kind of cruel, and I should be ashamed, but in
truth they tend to bring it on themselves.

True, but the more prolific perpetrator by far would be the Usher troll.
It just can't resist turning every post into an opportunity to call Willow
and anyone else that disagrees with it's rather preposterous stories and
opinionated rants "men", "fetishists", "transvestites", etc ad nauseum.
It's actually become a parody of itself.
