Stop the Mental Health Team developing a clustering system
Responsible department: Department of Health
The Mental Health Systems are bringing into effect a clustering
system, meaning that if you dont have Schizophrenia or Psychosis, you
are likely to have less of a service and eventually be discharged, for
example, if you have Borderline Personality Disorder, depression,
anxiety, ocd, that is not deemed “ill” enough to need a service.
Everyone with a mental health illness needs support, please sign this
petition if you agree and dont want the clustering system to decide
whether you get treatment or not.

Ideally where there is a need there should be treatment offered, but resources are
low & they have to prioritise. Unfortunately for us patients with the lesser conditions, we have to accept that we may not receive the same support we would have 5 years ago.
You can roll over and lament how horrible it is to be abandoned by the state, or you can get on with trying to improve your life as much as you can.
