I cannot tell whether my psoriasis haz improved over the last year.
If you look closely at the times of my posts and my posts to a
smoking cessation group, you will gather that psoriasis iz not my
only problem, either. If you were privy to my shopping habits, you
would notice that I spend WAY too much money at seven-eleven, and
seven-eleven duz not carry plums. My sleeping habits might figure
into that, because I feel cravings from ghrelin, although I do not
hav a weight problem.
I do not plan on getting a weight problem, either, so I bought about
five plums (in addition to having about four bananas that are
rotting, and that I am determined to consume if the plums do not
last this night), and hopefully they will keep my ghrelin levels in
check until the morning. I really need to work more fruit into my
diet, because that iz a larj key to Pagano's program.
My status iz a mixed bag. A patch on my arm iz quite a bit better.
It iz much thinner, less pink, less bludy, less weepy, and it iz
about fifteen percent smaller than it wuz last year at this date.
I've had that patch for about five years, and it wuz the start of my
psoriasis. On the downside, my back wuz clear last year, and now it
(especially my shoulders) hav speckles of exfoliative psoriasis that
threaten to grow. On the upside, both of my feet are better than
they were six months ago. At one point in the last month, my right
foot wuz looking like it would clear up in another month. Also on
the upside, my chest and abdomen are almost clear, while at times in
the last year they hav threatened to become the most itchy uv my
problems. On the downside, my arms, especially my wrists, are worse
than they were six months ago, and better than they were a month or
two ago, when I started with Borage seed oil and Flax seed oil. On
the upside, the cracks in my inner, left, middle finger are closed
and covered with hard skin. That iz better than last year at this
time. My status iz a mixed bag.
So, there are three thingz I need to do:
1. Eat BrewJay's anti-inflammatory more often than once a week.
2. Eat more fruit.
3. Quit tobacco.
I hav long suspected that my psoriasis iz larjly a product of my
liver status, hence plums. Plums are traditional chinese medicine
for liver problems. I've been using Milk Thistle extract for years
(2?) to treat my liver, and two Decembers ago, that wuz enough to
close the cracks in my fingers -- hadn't even read of Pagano at that
time. Back last March or April, they openned again, along with
problems under my knees, on my calves, and my feet. That's when I
wuz spurred to seek better internal medicine for dermatology. By
about May, even my face wuz affected. It had cleared up with my
level of discipline and amount of eksersize in August. With some
backsliding I did in my routines, dietary habits, and an experiment
with Niacin, my face wuz affected again in November. My face iz
clearing up -- slowly, and surely. In fact, by peeling my face and
drying it up with my blow dryer, I can make it look pretty normal,
although by the next day it will crack again.
I've learned to look at my wrists after consuming my latest recipe.
They are normally pink, possibly due the overall level of
interleukin seventeen in my body. My wrists turn white within an
hour of consuming "BrewJay's Anti-Inflammatory". It iz not the whole
solution, and in speed it iz impressive. I also consume a lot of
juice, because I do not know that my kidneys are not part of my
problem. I _should_ consume more of the fibre (and dijestibles) that
normally come with fruit.
My biggest ticket iz of course tobacco. Pagano goes on and on about
nightshades, and of course we all know that Tobacco iz the deadliest
of the deadly nightshades. It would be funky if I could get rid of
my psoriasis without stopping smoking, and I could avoid both social
and health problems in the future if I quit.
Somehow, it feels easier to quit tobacco these days. My whole
problem with Tobacco iz mechanical. I do not like it anymore. It iz
just that I've smoked over a hundred thousand times, and sometimes,
I liked it, so it's a big, mechanical habit. What I really need to
do iz keep on doing the other things I do, when I quit smoking. To
far too great an extent, I get lazy when I stop smoking for a day. I
can't let quitting chanje the rest of my life, az if smoking helped
me work, or concentrate, or some fool thing.
I do not anticipate that plumz will become my strongest weapon
against psoriasis. According to Pagano, any fruit will do for an
introduction to the discipline needed to...drop pizza, for instance.
He would ask you to diet on nothing but fruit for three dayz.
According to Og Mandino, though, it's easier to make new and good
habits take the place of old and bad ones. So, I'm beginning this
month with a commitment to starting my nights with a bowl of fruit
in my vicinity. Maybe before this month iz over I won't be trying
hard to eat nothing but fruit for a day.
Plumz are a good choice. Research haz been done on them regarding
liver damij and alcohol. Maybe I'll put some of it here.
