since anyone's posted to this group. I hope that's because things
are going well.

I'm doing alright. Just arrived in FL for a week long visit with my
dad and step mom. That should be fun. It's my bad time of year, but
I'm weathering the storm alright. Definitely feeling more down than
usual, but not getting hung up on it. I have a staffing next Friday
(the 16th), and the plan still is to move out with my friend in
September. I may also be starting work at the sheltered workshop. I
was hoping to make it a short stay there, and then quickly find a
community job, but that may not pan out. I may have to work there
longer than I hoped, and I may have to earn less money than I hoped
too. (funding for supported community living may be different than
funding for my RCF, and I may therefore be very limited on how much I
can earn. An employer at a community job would likely not want to
hire me for few enough hours to keep my monthly income below the
guidelines, so I may have to stay at the workshop).

How are you doing? Any luck on the employment front?

Emily

ps.com:
I'm doing ok. I was spectacular a couple of weeks ago, but the
death of my uncle knocked me a bit off. I seem to be slowly
heading back up, though. Nothing on the job front. I'm still
looking. I applied for two secretarial positions, but I don't
think they're going to pan out.

Good luck with your job. Any work can be rewarding compared to
doing relatively nothing.

Sorry about the loss of your Uncle. Glad you seem to be bouncing
back. Hope you keep heading upwards. Good luck with the job search.
Have you tried going through a temp agency? You might have some luck
there....
