It's late, and I've got to go to bed, but I doubt I can sleep. I have to
get up sky early for work tomorrow. I am working seven days in a row,
so I can have a weekend off. I get to sleep in a bit on Sunday though. I
didn't manage to call my p-doc on Thursday. Work was a bit crazy--I was
at the vets with birds most of the day. Long story, not sick, just being
tested for illness... So, I left early instead of getting a lunch. I
came home and crashed, and by the time I woke up, it was too late to
call her office. So, I guess I'll call Monday and see if she has any
evening appointments for the week. She might squeeze me in sometime, or
I could see her on my lunch--I'd just have to make sure I took my lunch
at an exact time--not usually easy to do.
I was feeling a bit better today. But, tonight it's not so great. I
know a lot of my stress is work. If I don't have to go to work, then I
do pretty well. When I know I have to go to work, I am in bad shape. I
live for my days off--and then I do nothing with them. I am looking
into grad school--so I can get a different job. I can't see myself just
quitting this job right now, but I'd love to. I would definitely need
another job before I quit this one, and searching for other work right
now just isn't possible. Sigh. I'll make it through tonight, and then
take tomorrow as it comes. At least it's a weekend, so work should be
busy which makes it better.

Sorry things are still so tough, and that you didn't manage to
get in touch with your doc. I understand the sleeping. I did
the same when I got home today, as soon as I could. I'm
sleeping as much as possible lately. I hope your weekend goes
ok, and that keeping busy helps.

Thanks lisa. I'll make it through the weekend, I'm sure. Not sure if
I'll make it through the week, but I will somehow.

Know, at least, that you're in my thoughts.

Thanks, Lisa. How are you doing? Are the increased meds helping at all?
Any luck on getting into partial sooner than two weeks from now?

Not so far. Everything's pretty much the same, except that I'm
getting more tired of it all. I'm planning on calling crisis
tonight to ask about their situation with regards to partial
intakes. Figured it didn't make a whole lot of sense to do an
eval on Friday when I couldn't have an intake until Monday. I'll
probably go in for one tomorrow.

Thanks, Emily.

Good luck with your crisis line call. Hopefully they can get you into
partial fairly soon. I'm surprised they would do eval's on a Sunday, but
I guess if it's a crisis place they would. It's not generally how they
do things around here I don't think, but then the only time I've gone to
our crisis area has been to be admitted to the p-ward... (I Guess it's a
crisis area, I'm not for sure, but it's kind of the mental health
section of the E.R.)

Thanks.
These are the people who contract to do the ER evals and run
the crisis line. They also run a respite program off hospital
grounds, so they're there every day. I had one eval before at
their office at the respite. It's about a block from the
hospital, so easy for them to do evals at the ER, too.
