i found out that i had gout in my mid-30s. Now i am a teetotaler and
i've been fine for the past 2 years on this zero-alcohol (no beer, no
wines, zero alcohol) regime. I eat meat i love it but so far i haven't
had to ration my meat intake. it really hurts when i get the gout, i
can't even walk unaided.

I have diabetes so I can't eat alot of carbs. Can't eat alot of meat
because of this. Guess I'll just eat dry bran from here on out. Yep,
water and bran.

I'm glad that helped. I had high uric acid on zyprexa too, that's why I
thought of it. I don't know what my uric acid is now.
I'm on geodon (ziprasidone). Don't believe the no weight gain bs big
pharma puts out about geodon. I gained 60 lbs on it. I'm always
thinking of food, just like zyprexa.
