God might be the only spiritual entity that matters to be right now -- not Jesus, not angels, not the bible, nor any other religious artifice. I am a barebones theist, with minimal accoutrements of religion.
If Adam had never partaken of Eve's sin of disobedience in Genesis, would he still even today be in Paradise, with or perhaps even without Eve, who might have been banished from Eden alone, since she alone would have sinned? In Genesis there seems to be an implication that Eve was created so that Adam would not be lonely. But I propose that if God was periodically present with Adam in Paradise even before Eve, along with animals and perhaps even angels, then perhaps he had little or no reason to be lonely.
I am not lonely.
