I am not a Doc rather I am an inositol user.
Before you try anything including taking your next breath ask your
doctor so he can sneer at it and oppose it.
The FDA-approved medications for OCD are these SSRIs
Luvox
Paxil
Prozac
Zoloft
and the tricyclic Anafranil.
SSRIs are the standard treatment of choice. Please talk to your doctor
(preferably a psychiatrist, instead of a general practitioner) about them,
and get started on feeling better soon.

Guide to Medications for Mental Illness:

=====
magic mushrooms, contain a substance called psylosibin, anyhow, what
the people who advocate using it for mental insight don't tell you, is
that this substance is neurotoxic. It destroys brain cells.
As for cannabis, everyone knows the effect on memory, and the increasing
number of people being admitted to mental wards due to the high
potency skunk.
I've tried various SSRI's,with little effect on either the OCD or
depression.
Thanks for the links to the substances which effect NMDA. But isn't
Phenibut related to GHB? GHB has caused so much ruin to me,that I'm
very scared of using anything remotely related to it. Can you tell me
if it can cause the same damage to one's life that GHB does?
I might as well tel you how the Depression started, seeing as I've
revealed so much about myself already:
It all started when I was 16,and first started masturbating,as a
result I started to suffer from intense urinary frequency, which lasted
all day long. This was very distressing, and it took me about 9 months
to overcome the urge to masturbate. As a result I fell into a deep
depression. Whether the urinary frequency was psychosomatic or some
physical ailment, I don't know.
After the time I stopped masturbating completely, I had no more
sexual urges at all. However,at the same time as this was going on, I
could not concentrate on my college work, and had other symptoms of
depression, such as anxiety, constipation etc etc.
What I don't get is that many people, during traumatic events, such as
wars/famines etc, lose their sexual drive, but it returns once the
trauma is over, and even if it doesn't return, it doesn't cause such
severe depression/OCD.
Even though I can masturbate/ejaculate without any trouble now,and no
more urinary problems, maybe my nind is still scared that sexual
arousal is linked with illness.
Thanks for reading this and thanks for your advice.
Though I wouldn't take Phenibut, it is certainly something, I would
advise you to stay away from at this point. It can cause some odd
reactions and sometimes post session anxiety - for me anyway. As has
been mentioned, go see a good Doctor.
Good luck
i'm kinda kind, but i ain't advice-worthy and i gotta big mouth so
it's'ah lethal combo.

You want rare names try its first names: meat sugar, rat antispectacle
eye factor,
and mouse antialopecia factor. Or maybe those are the names
of pimps for the old TV show Starsky and Hutch.

Paxil.

Psilocybin is not believed to be neurotoxic. The National Institute
For Occupational Safety And Heath (NIOSH) actually rated typical
recreational dosages of psilocybin to be less toxic on the brain than
marijuana, smoking a cigarette, drinking a beer, or even taking a dose
of aspirin. You might also want to learn how to spell the name of the
chemical before you start lecturing on it.
Bear Bryant couldn't play football. he did pretty well lecturin' them
boys on tha ins'n outs of it tho. ya THINK?
