Subject: MSWorld Guest Speaker Chat with Kathleen Wilson Tonight!!!
Join us tonight for our special MSWorld Guest Speaker Chat with Kathleen
Wilson!

Monday, May 10, 2004 at 8:00 pm ET in the MSWorld chat room!!

Kathleen Wilson, an artist who holds Master's Degrees in both Fine Arts and
Mental Health Counseling, has had MS since 1988.  Kathleen started MSWorld
in 1996 while recovering from a severe relapse of the disease which had
forced her into a wheelchair and out of her fast-paced career in
advertising.  Wanting to reach out to others, and too fatigued to attend
real support group meetings, she went online to look for a community.

When she found nothing satisfying, she decided to form her own online chat
room.  MSWorld has since grown from a single chat room into a worldwide
network helping hundreds of thousands of people to gain access to
information and support to help them cope with MS.  In 2001, MSWorld became
the official chat and message board provider for the National MS Society.
As of 2003, MSWorld has become a vital source of information for people with
MS throughout the world.  This has evolved into a tight knit online
community which averages over twenty thousand unique visitors every day.

MSWorld is unique in that it is run "By Patients, For Patients."  Thirty-two
staff volunteers from all over the world, each diagnosed with MS, bring
their talent, experience, and compassion to share with others.  Learning
technology and being a disease expert, gives each staff person the ability
to give to others in a way that only a person with the illness can know.

Meet Kathleen to ask questions and learn more about ways to help each other.
