This is sort of an unusual coincidence which makes astrology look
awesome.

Most people are familiar with Jacqueline Dupres, the famous cellist
whose career was cut short by onset of Multiple Sclerosis. Well, about
a week ago I heard a program on NPR which interviewed the cellist from
the Kronos Quartet, Joan Jeanrenaud.

Very interesting, I guess a lesser person would find this to be
drivel. *** "For one, these two women are born a day apart under the
sun sign Aquarius, January 25 & 26. Aquarius is a mental sign. Many
successful women are born under it because it offers the ability to
not only be highly intelligent but to distance one's self from life
events, to take a long range view and to see the bigger picture.
Aquarius women are very strong. Unfortunately it also can affect a
person's all over nervous system. The Sun rules a person's vitality
and overall health, and Uranus rules the nervous system.***

Not being a lesser person, I find this to be intriguing. It leads me
to believe that my Scorpian mate may not, afterall, be successful,
highly intelligent and capable of seeing the bigger picture.

It's also intriguing to learn that Ur-anus rules the nervous system.

Heh, heh. In the future, I would like to post more fun links, rather
than post the dry, purely MS, articles that I have been posting.
Marked OT, of course. Or do I post too much?

I am concerned that a once vibrant newsgroup became moribund. Trolls
have infected most usenet newsgroups; I believe this is why moderated
web forums flourish. I hate that, as much as I detest the elitist
trolls who infect this group.

I would like to know what others think. Do not think that my feelings
will be hurt if you (meaning everyone) disagree with me or my posts.
The present trolls remain in my twit filter, their views are without
merit; besides, they do not recognise any treatment except LDN.

Peter you DO NOT post too much. Back in the '90's this group
flourished with sometimes thousands of posts per month. While mostly
discussions of MS topics, there was also a good share of OT posts,
jokes, observations on life, friendly twisting on each other and
more. Preceding an off-topic post with 'OT' was strongly suggested.

With the new millenium things began to change. Most of the hundreds
of monthly posters started drifting away for their own reasons. The
face of ASMS started changing, and I guess you could say, deteriorated
into what it is now.

Big Artie didn't change it so much as Davizona and myself. For my
share of running so many people off because of the game I played with
Diva I apologize...had I known the damage I was doing I would not have
engaged him. It's too bad he didn't fold his tent and leave when I
won the game by showing him for what he is. Again, I apologize for
denying so many people the support this group was famous for.

I'm trying to overcome my mistakes and encourage more and more new
folks to join us as well as encouraging some of the old timers to
return and/or stay. Most of my own group are hesitant to return but
I'm workiing on them.

Diva is here to stay, turns out he probably isn't a troll after all,
he didn't die when exposed to sunlight. He's just an efficient
flamer, a sorry excuse of a human being, who delights in others pain
and suffering. To prove the point, watch the response/s.

It gonna be fun to watch the next ten years...I do believe ASMS will
survive.

My sister met Dupres a couple of times, both being in the classical
music business, and so her story is familiar to me. I don't know if it
is sadder because her MS cut short a very promising career or that it
came at all.
It must be said that her talent was an astounding one and one that the
classical world is a lesser place for its absence,

you really ARE an asshole.

sucking up to them now and displaying your phony attitude wont win

You're right about one thing Diva, I can be an asshole to you and
Artie. Mostly folks got tired of me 'cause I confronted you and Artie
on what should be an information and support group. They hate your
guts 'cause you confront everyone.

I can also be sincere, I suck up to no one, not now, not ever.

Win them back? To where? My good graces? Sure. The group? As long
as you remain, probably not.

Carry on.

you're wrong tickhead.
The only ones I've ever confronted on this forum chose to make
themselves confrontational.
All of this could have been avoided a long time ago had it not been
for that, you're not alone.
But you're a different story, I have my own reasons for not liking
you. Which I dont. At all!
I find it interesting that nobody ever tried to find out why I have so
much hostility for members on this
forum. That kinda blows your whole 'support' theory out the window,
doesnt it.

lol, and another thing tickhead.
Of all the emails I got from members of this forum, I dont recall one
mentioning what you wrote about why they got tired of you.
They're sick of you for entirely different reasons.

Another delusional lie.

No wonder, after spanking you like a stepchild as often as I have.

You're the only one that finds it interesting...no one else cares.

Not at all, proves folks support the ones who need it. You don't, and
you didn't.

You mean the emails from Big Artie and the pseudo-members you two
brought onboard don't you Diva? No one else of any stature on this
group has ever emailed you.

Well of course I learn Diva. I've now earned my masters in Diva
spanking. Drunk or sober I've learned how easy it is. I'd be
embarrassed if I were you...spanked by an old drunk. Time after time.

Stay tuned, doctoral thesis is not far behind.

I don't have to try to make myself feel good Diva, you make me feel
good. You are an amusement to me, but to you, I have become your
panoptic world. My friends and I don't have the need to impress each
other, we are by nature, impressive.

Tell you what David, since I do consider this a game and with little
competition I seem to trump your every post, I, once again, declare
myself the winner by default. And that makes you...the loser. Game
over.

Yours in triumph,
