Addiction? To MJ? The only addiction you can get to MJ is a
psychological addiction to it. It has no physically addictive
properties as far as I can tell. I used to smoke the stuff way back
when in high school. On graduation and heading for college I told
myself: "OK. Time to get act together." and quit smoking the stuff
cold. Just stopped right then.

I had absolutlely no problem doing so either.....unlike trying to quit
cigarettes which is damn near impossible without having a complete
bodily freak-out.

Pot is pretty safe to try for those interested in the possible
positive effects it may have on your MS symptoms IMO. If you don't
like it or it doesn't work, you can quit using it any time without
having a withdrawl process.

Unlike the opiate type drugs. There is a guy in my support group that
uses the opiate (fentanol (sp?)) patches for neuropathic pain. I am
worried that he is going to have a major problem trying to stop using
them in the future, i.e., addiction withdrawl type problems.
