Welcome to alt.support.lupus
alt.support.lupus has a photo-sharing site so posters here can
upload or view photos
that other members have uploaded to this site (the photos are varied
of members, their family,
their pets, their projects, anything goes within reason)
It is passworded, so you would have to contact one of the members
who would advise
you of the login and password or post a message to the newsgroup and
someone will
contact you (as long as your e-mail isn't munged/spam-proofed).
http://atlantic.photoisland.com/photosharing/
If you need assist once you've acquired the instructions, post a
request, someone here will help
you or Shelagh will set things the way you want them.
Please do NOT post the login and password to the newsgroup.

Shelagh also maintains a map of ASL members, so you can see where
each is located (approximately)
in the world.
http://members.shaw.ca/tiderington/index.htm
Click on "View My Guest Map" there (Sidebar down the left side).
The instructions are on the Welcome box when the map opens.
Once you select "Post", click near where you live which positions
you on the map,
then an information box comes up, enter as much or little info as
you wish, keep it short
and confidential because anyone can have access to the info that you
post in your message.
(and the map).
Point your cursor at some of the others' there first and you'll see
the kinds of messages they've
posted (to give you some ideas).
In the info box, you may select gender and hair color and country
map, but not the clothing color.
If you don't select a gender/hair color, you'll be shown as a little
green figure.
There's an example of one there. If you want to be green, so be it.
<g>
If you record it in the wrong place or have any other difficulty
contact Shelagh and she
will help you with this, or make the desired change(s) or post to
the newsgroup, that you are
having difficulty.
While you're on Shelagh's web site, there's lots of good information
about Lupus,
take your time and have a read.
