Prayers requested, healing thoughts and well wishing for her for those who
o not pray or believe in prayers, please.

Keep being disconnected so writign telegraphally at ths time.

My mother lost 6-0 pounds due to their delaying the op so far. We suspect
that the op roo was taken by rishcer eope paying cash and expected that
the rich woudl not want operated around XMas, where we ten hoped they
woudl ot wait any longer tha XMas to do the op.

But by now,she can not even sit without her bones piercing through her
fles and skin. Been that skinny, with Graves in my ase, know how we4ak
that is!

They re-ran pre op tests again this lastw eek and again all shows no other
coditions to counter-indicate an operation, except her old age and
frainless by now. But no choice, if they wait longer, just woud get worse
odds of her making it.

Useless to say I am upset at drs for havig postoned for so long in her state
and at her age:(

I got vaccinated because she opted for seasonal flu shot instead, and did
not want to bring he H1N1 if I visited. Now havign symptos of soem flu,
and do not dare go see her and jeopardize her o or recovery, if hospitals
are known in thsi area to be the worst palce to go if one doe snot want
sick with soem bad virus or bateria. Though she will be on the Ontario
side whch is less bad, but where they still f course have cases of H1N1
hopitalized.

Crossing our figers and praying hard.

Thing is, se will not say but will do as if she coud die during op and
want to do even more thans he can not even to prpare for Xmas uin case she
woud not be there anymore to make anytign for all of us:(

The way she talked to me on phone recently and wote letetrs, it felt like
she felt she was going away gradually but surely. No wonder with teir
doing nothg at all soooner to elp her, basterds:(

So...crossing fingers very hard nd wishing I coud be there Thursday,
butwith fl liek symptom and even if those gone by then, might be too soon
after symptoms on my side to risk it:(:(:(:(

It is Xmas time...Please pray and send good ehaling waves to her???
Adn o the drs, specially surgeons and anesthesist!

Will start sending good wave to drs too myself. Sugens and anesthesists
are nto th4e oens after all who delayed the op so far.

We do not know t what time she will be operated,. and will only learn
apaprently late Wesdnesday afternoon....:(

Talk about beign considerate of human beings and families, specially at
this tiem fo the eyar...

But oh, may it all go fine and may she come out of it fine.

So she can then gain weight again and gain strneght again and go to all
them drs funerals,nah!;)

Good luck. I have a family member who's somewhat older than your
mother and the doctors simply will not do an operation for most things
because she's considered too old and frail.

When se had her gall bladder crisis last earl summer, she was fine other
than that sudden thing. We knew she was strong and all and ould have
undergone the op fine.
But they wanted to wait....and we started fearing tt they woudl exactly
postpone for so long that she would get weaker and weaker (gall bladder
being completely blocked, it hurts her AND makes it very hard to digest
anything. For weeks she coudl keep nothing:(, after they sent her home. So
she started losing weight. They then set the op for sept ten, and we foudn
that waiting too long, as we knew she woudl just get weake and weaker from
not being able to feed the body properly due to the gall bladder.
Just two days beore the op, they decided she had to udnergo the tests
again...:( It was done fast, and tey fodn them all fine where she coudl
have the op. But they ahd cancelled the opeating room on her and when we
tried to book her back, someone else had taken it:(.

We have been waiting since.

We finally havea date bit as I said by now we all fear she is too weak and
yet it can not be skipped: she will die of inantion or weight loss, same
difference, if it goes on this way. But we coudl strangle them for havign
waited so long. From day one I feared they woud o this, and for all I
know, they might again cancel when she gets there:( Grrr.

Worried of course. Very much wiosh they ahd oerated on her rigt there and
then, but they even lied to us at a point and said there were no gall
bladder at all, after they had yet said the opposite. We had to switch drs
to have the new one look at the test results where she confirmed gall
aldde stones and ordeed the op that then was set as I said to sept tenth...
But her reg dr was on holiays then and theyc ancelled on her, wanting to
redo the tests themself given her age if they all had been done:(.

Sigh.

Crossing my finges and will be anxiu allw eek......

Gall bladder, and while she is under, -they will first try by laparoscopy,
to minimize impact -if they see any othe thing vbloking such as stones
visible elsewhere, liver, etc, then they will do a full cut to remove what
they see needs be done. The gall bladder needs removed as it is entirely
blocked. Of course we hope it can be 'unblocked' and saved, that would be
wonderful, but could then again give ay to later blockages where she woudl
e too old to operate...So we think they pobably will not chnace it and
remove it.=, then see if needs a full operation (as in cut wider) to get
the restof stones, as they will see needed according to how she does too....

I can pray, pray small p , that laproscopy will be sufficient.

Then: Hopefully no misunderstanding which matters my friend. The hug
is for dear mother. (Well OK, better (( )) , (( )) :) , there!
Nothing improper; she is struggling for her life -- and thus a very
gentle hug.
/And prayer in my thoughts
