Hi, David!

Is summer weather trying to make it in your area?

I saw that many USA areas had 40cm of snow and 35 cms just before that...

Hope you are seing spring over there!

It finally seems to be here, at last. Bit too sudden, as in 25 C in the afternoons, but
coolish in the morning, still too much so to elave without a jacket, and then beign stuck to
carry it. Too cold to be in sandals in the early mornign to leave for work, steaming in closed
shoes as tyou leave work...

Just a pertfect time to get a sore throat and an earache.
But already have those, so;-).

Neighbors could have used this nice weekend to elave for their cottage, but ope. They invited
friends in their yard...making it so I live with shut patio doors since about 11 a.m....when
the sun was just abnout to hit the yard, wheer I thought that maybe I could get out there to
see what the yard looked like...what was growing or not, how much raking was needed, if any, etc.

BNut f i do not mind sittign alone in a yard, sittign alone in a very small yard that makes
you too close for provacy at all with a bunch of people looking on is not my type of idea fo a
nice moment in the yard....

So I watched the telly...
'Unforgettable'. Never had seen it so I was glad to catch it. Sound was terrible. Had to put
it at 67 at times, so bad it was when they spoke real low, then turn it down racing to put it
at ...29 to not have the loud scenes break the windows:). Normally at 17 one can hear okay,
but the best with that movie was at 29, and that was rare. Really was terrible for sound. Hope
the sound technicians did not win an oscar for that one, really:(

How is your weekend?

What do you spend time on lately?

Hello Chloe,

We never get snow here. It can get near 0C a couple times at night.
We're well into the 25-28C weather now. It has been light rain for the
past few days, very good for the plants and lawn.

I've not done much for the past six weeks or so. My best friend died and
there just isn't much I feel like doing right now. I go out to eat some
but mostly just try to keep up with chores and work. Things are okay, just
the endless quiet after someone has left your life.

My girlfriend bought a daycare this weekend. She has been looking for
years. Finally found the right place for her to make her dream come true.
I'm sure that will keep me busy helping out where I can.

Sorry to hear that you are between jobs. Hopefully the next one will be
better.

I agree that USENET seems to be slowing down. The good friends are still
around and a few have died off. I suppose there are those in webspace, but
that just doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather call and visit and play in real
life.

Take care,

David

Sorry that the lost is so heavy...
I take it that this best friend was soemone you spent most of your time with...

I do not remember what I dreamt last night, but I woke up, and was in tears. No image, no
memory of nothing to put it on, but the feeling was like the sadest one ever, as if I had
witnessed the sadest life/events ever ever...
A flood of tears just fell down, heavy tears, for about 15 minutes, with me still not
remembering a thing, but figuring it must have been the sadest dream ever I had that made me
wake up this way...Like witnessing the saddest thing and being powerless.

A while later, as I played scrabble online, the tears again fell down, same feeling I could
identify, but still not any memory of the dream.....
Who knows, maybe it was your sadness I felt....

I hope your gf's daycare project will help keep your mind busy. Not that we forget then. But
when we are so intensely thinking of the gone one, we are emitting and are in no
wavelenght to receive any signal from them...
Often the signals come the first moment our mind is suddenly busy with something enough to forget
one fist second...

........
Wishing you the best soothing words and iages from your gone by best friend....

And yeah, when one can, calling and visiting in real life is definitely unbeatable.

As for work, I still am working. Am between jobs as in transfered somewhere sometime soon, due
to wfa, if nothing finalized yet as to when...or where, for that matter, since nothing is
in writing yet.

I wish I could afford retiring.
I do not think I will make it very old, and woudl like to enjoy time at my own pace for as
long as I can before the time comes...
Life is too short to spend it all around work. But oen has to live and pay rent, so...eh.
Guess I will have to either die at work or make it over 67, the age they now are pushing
retirement to, if Quebec talks about....75.

Jerry...?

Hi! Sorry I took so long to reply. I don't know how but I missed it.
The kids are ok now and I am too. Everything they catch I get too!
Summer is almost here for the kids to be out of school and I will go
slightly crazy because they are so bored.
