So mnay things to do, so lil time to get to do them, that I tend to pace
around and waste time tryign to figure where to start.
True, most need done in order.
But...Too much time spent on how and when can leave me to do nothing at
all and see it pile up further.
Yet...It can be escapism on my part to getto avoid the thinking of the
order and prioritizing, too...
So...
Lessee. I need to rebnew the labyrintitis meds.
I got to do the first oil paint coating on at last the washroom window
frame, top be able to let it dry and apply another coating and still be
able to shower next week.
I *need* to do laundry for my working clothes, and to get my bedroom in
*some* order so as to find my clothes. I *need* to wash my jacket, too,
sicne the weather is not cooperating, teh wind making it too cold without,
specially in the shade.
What else is a must and priority....?
Since I will not be able to use the washroom much, and since it will smell
of paint in there, perhaps I oughta finish painting the washroom...Then
again, I can't: just thought of the fact that the paint on the window frames
will be wet, and therefore I can not redo the paint around them to do
retouches where they left the wall bare between the new window and where I
had painted before....Sigh.
Okay... So washroom window. Caulking is done in there already. Should be
dry enough for opil paint now.
Find the oil paint and do that then, after taping around to not make a
bigger mess.
Make sure I have a good brush left....oh yeah, and paint thinner sicne
this is oil, to clean the brush and etc.
Hm. Since I will be working with oil and the smell is bad for birds, might
as well do the caulking on the other windows upstairs to get them ready
for an ol coating. But taping around plus caulking and all will be very
time consuming and I still would not be able to finish the second coating
on all, having to wait for them to dry......I'll keep my bedroom for last:
the birds never go there ayway, and I can keep it closed when I do the
window sill later. Same with guest room. So puter room and washroom first.
Both hopefully to be ended by Monday morning, at least for the window
paint. The rest of retouches need wait until the windows are done and over
with, dry and all.
Boring job, bringing me back to square one and having to redo the little
that was already done, blocking the progress in ending the washroom and pc
room....Which now will be longer to finish even after that since entire
walls need redone after they messed them so bad with ripping the old
frames out and putting in narrower windows:(.
On breating breaks...Try and see if it is warm enough for my earache to
wash the carpets in the yard...
Gotta get somethign going....
Already time consuming work all that is, and most likely I won't even be
able to get to the carpets....
And finding my clothes for Monday is more important, and washing them, too.
So okay. Let's stick to errands for earache meds, at the natural product
store, then aim at the window taping in the washroom...
Shoots....It will be complicated to do the caulking in the pc room, as
parts of the gyprock has been pulled out aroudn the window, and wider
where the window sill was, where it feels wet.
Hesitation: the wet window sill...and the water dammage in the corner,
which I notified the landlord about. My roof is leaking and doing dammages
in the pc room, and over the stairwell, at the ceiling....
And bubbles are forming at the ceiling of the washroom too. Why oh why in
the two rooms I already painted and worked on--if both need retouche here
and there? ARGH. I truely feel like I never will end those two rooms and
now wonder if I somehow manage to, if they will not rip the ceilings and
walls out because of rain dammage or possible fungus! Gngngn.....
Discouraging, innit. I just pace around not wanting to waste time and yet
time is wasted waiting on them all the time....
BUT,. The washroom window NEEDS done since it is inside the shower, over
the tub, and needs sealed properly to rpevent excactly any new water
dammage after such hard owrk as we did on them walls and ceiling already.
Okay.....
Meds fecthing.
Washroom window tio tape and paint first oil coating.
Laundry. Living room dining room and kitchen ceiling to roll? Contourdss
are done since long....
Nope, can't: gotta wait on the landlord to come abck and close a gap they
left at the ceiling over the wall of windows in the dining room....No word
yet on when that will be done.
Darn!!
Argh!
So.
Meds.
Washroom windows.
Laundry.
We're back to doing the caulking of the other windows, are we not.....
Sigh.
Paint to scrape over the patio doors, in that ledge over the doors where a
window in lenght is (does not open, but it rained there too!). Scrape
paint off then caulking again.....Nope. Gotta wait to do the window next
to it, in the dining room, because of that patch the will have to
installover the gap they left between the dinign room windows and the
ceiling. I can not even put the curtains back on until this is all done,
because it will be in the way when painting! Grrrr...
Okay. Get meds, get paint thinner and a good brush or three, then
tape washroom window and give first coating of oil paint on frame.
Laundry.
Wash top of cupboards. There. Been wanting that done since so long and
something always came up to prevent it....Today or tomorrow will be the
day it is done, nah.
Sleep in between jobs....Dead tired I am....and work will be hectic wiht
the worklod of last week waiting for me, plus the leftover of the 18 days
off I had taken just before that still awaiting things done too....and
ending the production reports, now quite late, if I only have two of the
five to finalize.
Let's satrt with sleep, says a lil voice in my head, hehehe:)
Nah. Let's start with fetching the meds. Important to my health that is.
And for the rest of the job to be properly done.
Meds, oil brushes, paint thinner, here I come. Since I will be at the
hardware store, might as well get a new stove fan ''filter'' and the new
screen to install later on the patio screen door. It looks like a mess
with duct tape all over the bottom and side.
Yawn...sleep first, sleep first...
I'll give you sleep first!!!
Git the stuff. Sleep after takingt he meds, nah! Tape later, not too late,
as it needs dry for the second coating. That one shoudl go easy, after all
the taping is done....
Later, going to...sleep...?;-);-)

I wrote down the list the other day.. and yet new things kept popping
up in my head as I was waking up....only to be forgotten when I wan to
remember. I used to write on a pad kept next to bed ..but then I have
redundant ones...
Thouht about recrding but I'd be lazy to listen..
So, decided not to sweat about it and enjoy..especially seeing that
it's nice outside. Staying inside is still quite fun if it is nice
outside. What is it about the weather that cheers up my mood? I
thought I was feeling better - from feeling down not with my own
issues but with *them* - because I was able to cut that emotional
chord but now it seems it's the sun outside. In any case, plan escape
from the affects of being related to the highly dysfunctional but
powerful one (this time due to the rotecting visiting brother instead
of staying out) must be diligently kept alive and pursued. In the
mean time, tell me self ..just pick on from the the list and get
started...even thoguh my plan to hit the gym in the morning is lready
down the derain..but I'll at tonight no matter what and drink that
protein shake and get back to better eating habit and so on... instead
of trying to fiish the lists of things first... Can't believe I am
hungry again, more like low on blood suger ... but better go eat
instead of being stubborn for I do not want to eat, the disorder that
I dealw tih ever 3-4 motnhs..since my teenage years..
Hope you get your list of things to do reduced Chloe:)
I make lists and keep loosing them.
Today I took the measure of the patio screen door and of the oven filter
(for the fan) a fourth time.
Got the meds. Got the oil painting brushes. Got the oil paint can shaken
at hardware store. Got to take meds. Got to even take them each 15 minutes
for the forst hours as was suggested since the furst time around (3
times a day) did not work, then on the hour for now.
Got the tape and did put it around the washroom window...keeping the top
for last. Can not see the top, so does not need as much attention.
But just as I was ending the taping of the top of the washroom window,
trying to feel the tape edge sicne I could not see it, I used my
fingers...that fell in behind the frame. ARGH! It ''worked'' overnight and
a huge gap of almost 1/2 inches was now between the top of the frame and
the wall. Got the caulking again, grumbling, as a normal layer requires 48
hours before painting with oil:(...Put the caulking in the ''crackÔ. Have
now to wait 48 hours fr it to dry and to put the tape around it...and to
wait next weekend, Friday evening, to paint it a first coating (after the
daily showers, for work, but how on earth to shwoer with the window not
painted yet?? Gngngnnn...
It is a beautifully sunny day out there. But so far. each time it wa true
blue skies, it was under 15C, so nothign to stay out long and feel comfy
about. After a while it gets cilling to the bone, even with a jacket and
all...
So...Once more, back to square one with ''Okay, so what next??Ô. I emptied
the dishwasher and started to refill it wiht the dirty utensils and
glasses for the meds. Ate two slices of pizza, which I ordered yesterday:
fast food, but has all four categories of food in it: meat, dairy
(cheese), veggie4s and ...wahtever was the fourth one again? Mpft. Oh
yeah: bread (dough). Fattening, but I figure with all thework I did lately
and with the fact I had not eaten in days, bah. Plus it comes cheap if one
has to order more tha once, and sicne I have work to do in the house and
no time for cooking, then that will come in handy.
Right now, I am even more sleepy and think I will have a nap and start the
laundry today instead of tomorrow to make it a cosy resting evening.
Maybe a new list of priorities will be formed when I can get defrustrated
--read rested-- and I will take it from there again.
I did not get the screen nor thefan filter for the oven: my budget of this
paycheck is too tight, and it can wait for the next one or the oen after
that. Got enough to keepo busy at any rate:). Be it just doing lists that
never work out pass point one, cause life throws a new one at me too each
time laly:).
Yeah...I can do some laundry. Things that don't wrinkle, liek jeans or
blankets, so if I fall asleep it won't matter if I oversleep when the
dryer is done. That will be that much gained over tomorrow's schedule
whatever that oen will end up being like.
Still wondering what I could do to get ahead today but each thing depends
on another that is blocked awaiting landlord or drying or etc....Sigh.
I'll do one thign per evenign after work, even if very small, to still
keep at it....
For now I wdner how the schmuck I will have a shower or bath before going
back to work without getting the washroomn window allhumid and not srying
fr the caulking, and for that matter how I will managhe the entire week
wiht no painted window in the washroom:(.
Life, soemtime,s huh....?
More imagination than us!
Take care and hope your day was sunny and warm, without beign too hot.
