Scholarly Paper Against Low Protein Diet?

I recently came across a paper written by a 'David W. Johnson' that
says in his abstract that the Walser low protein diet does nothing to
delay or avoid dialysis!! The abstract is here:

I sent an immediate note to this guy with my personal experiences
which completely counter what appears to me to be his guesswork. If
anyone else here has experiences that go against these results, you
might give this researcher an email. While we mostly can give him
what he would probably call 'anecdotal' evidence, it might give him
pause and perhaps even get him to read up on Mackenzie Walser... :)
