UK guys and swim trunks

I dont know if there are many guys from the UK who look at this group?
Did any of you wear swimming trunks instead of a jock for sports like
Rugby, Cross Country Running etc or maybe still do.
So many athletic type shorts, for example, have those sewn in briefs
and the wearing briefs generally seems to be more usual now.
Any comments?

We were told to wear nothing under our shorts, or a jockstrap. As soon
as I worked out what a jockstrap was, I really had to try one. I
bought one and I was hooked but I didnt wear it for sports as I wasnt
a sportsman and my friends werent either so I didnt want to be
different. We found that swiming trunks were more comfortable than
nothing and our school had a pool so we just used the excuse that we
were going to go swimming afterwards.
Secretly, there was nothing I would have liked more than to wear one
for sports, just for the feel of it.
I used to wear a jock at every oportunity and sometimes wore one under
my school clothes and a cup sometimes.
Since that time I have always worn a jock for sleeping in and now most
days as well.

Man, thats a hot story. I would love to play a sport with a bunch of
guys told to wear nothing or to wear a jock. It sucks that you guys
were relegated to swimming trunks and I hope that you were able to
catch a peek at some teammates who went the "nothing" route. I wouldnt
have been able to resist looking. Makes me want to go back to school
again.
