I find this time to be particularly difficult with all the holiday
"goody" temptations. Sugar is very acidic and not IC friendly! Years
ago, I abandoned store bought cake mixes , etc. and depend on cake,
cookie, & pie recipes that don't have the preservatives & food coloring.
Modification and moderation are the key. I love pumpkin and apple pie.
I can now enjoy by deleting the spices that bother me the most - like
nutmeg. Sure wish I didn't have a sweet tooth at all!
